“It Is Not Death That a Man Should Fear, but We Should Fear Never Beginning to Live” – Marcus Aurelius
Our Founder and Chairman, who left us three years back continuously motivate us with his inspiring qualities of Personal Integrity and Self Discipline.
On his 3rd Death Anniversary, we at Paramount were determined to see and experience life differently. Something which we all learned and imbibed from the great soul. Indeed, social recreation seemed secondary compared to the thought of spending light hearted but quality time with less privileged kids at the Blind Welfare Society and the less privileged elderly at the Old Age Home at Nihal Vihar. What a day it was!
It doesn’t matter what you do, so long as you change something from the way it was before into something that’s better after you are no longer around. The smiles and giggles of the kids and the elderly at both the centres definitely proved that our small efforts made a difference to the lives of these underprivileged children and Elders. Laughter, amusement, excited hand gestures, wide smiling faces, toothed grins, clapping hands, bobbing heads, you name it and it was all there. An experience the team at Paramount called seeing life differently.
All of us believe it was a unique experience, one that we will all remember for a long long time and we shall continue to do this every year in the years to come. In the end we will like to reiterate –Those we love can never be more than a thought away…for as long as there’s a memory and we do what they exemplified, they always live in our hearts to stay.
